Road deaths rise for older Americans

An article in the May 2017 AARP Bulletin says that the U.S. is seeing a rise in deaths for older pedestrians and cyclists.

"Pedestrian deaths rose by 12 percent from 2006 to 2015, while bicycle deaths rose by 12 percent from 2014 to 2015, according to figures from the National Highway Safety Administration."

Florida has the top five most dangerous places to live:  Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Palm Bay Melbourne, Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford, Jacksonville; and Deltona-Daytona Beach.  (p.6)
